About Our Embroidery Designs

All of the wonderful designs you will find here at WCC are stitched out using a Bernina Artista 200e embroidery machine.
We use high quality polyester and rayon threads by Isacord, Mettler, and Sulky for durability and beautiful shine.
Embroidery stabilizers are used to ensure the finished garment retains its shape without undue pulling from the design.

Embroidery is very time intensive...we cannot just setup a design and garment to stitch out, it needs to be constantly monitored while stitching to ensure quality and that the needle doesn't pierce a part of the garment that it shouldn't...this means we are sitting in front of the machine while it does it's job, changing threads as called for, and moving fabric around.

Our embroidery design prices are based upon number of thread changes and number of stitches found in each design. Some designs are resized to fit on a garment and the stitch count can fluctuate up or down, but the thread changes will remain the same.
The going rate for embroidery of this nature is usually about $1.00 per 1,000 stitches. This is an industry standard. Our prices here at WCC are usually much less than the standard rate, and you can be assured that the quality of your stitched garment will meet your expectations.

All our embroidery designs are sold stitched out onto the garment you have selected. We do not sell embroidery stitch files, please do not ask us! If you are interested in purchasing a stitch file for use with your own embroidery machine, you will need to contact one of the many talented digitizers or their authorized agents to purchase the designs for your own embroidery use.
Please do not email us asking for the source of a particular design! We have spent many, many hours searching the internet to find high quality designs, to ensure that Wicked Cool Creations is THE place to find just the right garment and embroidery design combo. All email inquiries of this nature will be referred back to this page.

ALL embroidery stitch files and pictures of designs remain the property of their respective owners. If you are a digitizer or agent for any of the embroidery designs shown here, and feel we are not abiding by copyright law, or have questions regarding the use of your designs, please email us and let us know how we can rectify the matter. Also, please note our 'Disclaimer & Credits' link which is present at the bottom of each and every one of our pages.

WCC Store Policies

It is our hope that you will be happy with your purchases here at WCC. We will do everything we can to ensure your shopping experience with us is a pleasurable one. If you are unhappy with an item you have received, please send us an email letting us know why you are unhappy. We will do our best to make it right.
Due to the nature of custom sewing and embroidery, refunds are not issued unless the garment or embroidery is of poor quality. Please remember that everything purchased here with exception to our Tee shirt line is made by hand and there may be variations from one garment to the next. Custom sewing and embroidery is an art, not a science...it is rarely perfect. Items with obviously poor craftmomship can be returned for a refund if they are in unused condition. A store credit will be issued for all other garments that need to be returned.

Pocket Diapers, PUL, and Other Fabrics

There are a variety of things that can go wrong when embroidering on thin knits, pocket diapers or PUL/laminated fabrics. The pocket opening can sometimes be too small to accomodate anything larger than our smallest embroidery hoop which will in turn make the embroidery smaller than might have been expected, or the design you have chosen can have size limitations. This is most notable on size small Fuzzi Bunz, and all sizes of Swaddlebees. If a design you have purchased will not fit on the diaper you are sending for embroidery, we will let you know and you can choose an alternate design or receive a refund of your purchase minus shipping charges.

PUL and laminated fabrics are very slippery and sometimes shift in the hoop as they are stitching (this is also true of thin knit covers and diapers). If they are hooped too tightly, it can damage the material, too loose and the design will be 'off' or the fabric will have undue puckering. It is a rarity, but it does happen that occassionally a diaper will be ruined by variances in the design, hooping, material, or needle breakage which are out of our control. In these instances we cannot be held responsible for replacing the damaged diaper, but will gladly attempt the design again on a new diaper if you choose, offer you a store credit, or refund your design purchase price. By purchasing a design to be placed on these diapers or materials, you are agreeing to these terms.

During embroidery we use either polar fleece or wool interlock to 'seal' the embroidery. The fleece/wool is placed between the wrong side of the stitches and the inside of the pocket or cover to prevent wicking or leaking. It works very well (in fact no one has ever complained of wicking or leaks), but the needle and embroidery IS piercing the waterproof barrier, and may compromise the integrity of the diaper, especially for a infant who is a very heavy wetter or when the diaper is left wet for an extnded period of time. We recommend pocket diapers and PUL laminates to be dried on the hottest dryer setting at least once every 3-4 uses so the laminate can 'reseal' itself on a regular basis. We cannot guarantee waterproofness once the pocket diaper or cover has been embroidered.
